I noted that one cannot boot Ubu-ZFS when another harddrive with Ubu-ZFS is plugged into a SATA socket, because the pool names clash or something. goes "cannot import pool" on me.

it is tricky. debconf cannot fix many hairy ZFS situations IMHO
took only 30 seconds to flash "SM16" of year 2014.
but preparing a bootable CD-ROM took time, as in 2014 flashing from USB sticks was not yet "a thing".
can "boot-repair" fix Ubuntu with ZFS as root filesystem being booted off of ? so far, grub-customizer did all that I needed to get done.
